The Student Guild Executive at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus in Saint Lucia has partnered with Sherwin Williams to improve the campus’s study and administrative spaces.
Through the partnership, Sherwin-Williams donated paint to refresh and brighten the interior of the UWI Global Campus Saint Lucia.
Student Guild Executive President Shem Hippolyte said the project aims to improve the spaces where students learn and to build a stronger sense of pride and community.
Hippolyte also thanked Sherwin-Williams for its contribution and acknowledged the campus leadership in bringing the project forward.
The Guild’s advisor, Diana Williams, said the initiative also demonstrates the value of giving student leaders opportunities to identify practical solutions and establish relationships with businesses.
“Empowering student leaders to identify solutions and partner with corporate Saint Lucia is at the core of holistic development,” she said.
