Coast to Coast Netball Tournament Concludes

On Saturday, the Coast to Coast Netball Tournament will conclude at the Micoud Court, featuring four exciting matches.

Following last weekend’s semifinals at the Beausejour Gymnasium, Netball Saint Lucia has announced the finalists for both the junior and senior categories.

In the senior division, 2 Da Max secured a convincing victory over the Windward Islands Secondary Games (WISG) team with a score of 49-26, showcasing their strong performance from the previous week.

Shamrock forfeited their preliminary match to the LFX Netballers, who continued their winning streak by defeating Shamrock in the semifinal with a score of 56-20.

In the junior matches, Little Sisters delivered a dominant 35-6 win against Shamrock Juniors, while the Ruby Red Darlings narrowly edged out the White Blazers with an 11-8 victory.

The weekend fixtures are as follows:

Junior Division

– 3rd Place Playoff: White Blazers vs. Shamrock Juniors – 1:00 p.m.
– Finals: Ruby Red Darlings vs. Little Sisters

Senior Division

– 3rd Place Playoff: Shamrock Seniors vs. WISG – 3:00 p.m.
– Finals: 2 Da Max vs. LFX Netballers

Saturday’s games will mark the conclusion of over five weeks of thrilling netball action.

Meanwhile, the senior national team is preparing for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in August, as well as the World Championship qualifiers in Barbados in October.
