Six Saint Lucian Swimmers Selected for 33rd OECS Swimming Championships

The Saint Lucia Aquatics Federation has announced the selection of six outstanding swimmers to represent the island at the 33rd OECS Swimming Championships, scheduled to take place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from November 7th to 9th, 2025.

This achievement marks a remarkable milestone for the young athletes, reflecting their hard work, discipline, and passion for the sport. Their dedication both in and out of the pool has earned them the opportunity to compete among the region’s best swimmers.

Team Saint Lucia’s representatives are:

  • 🏊‍♀️ Amara Reece – 13–14 Girls
  • 🏊‍♂️ Aaron Charles – 13–14 Boys
  • 🏊‍♀️ Alexandra Bristol – 15–17 Girls
  • 🏊‍♀️ Fayrh Lubrun – 15–17 Girls
  • 🏊‍♂️ Ethan Hazell – 15–17 Boys
  • 🏊‍♀️ Naekeisha Louis – 18 & Over Girls

The Federation extended heartfelt congratulations to the athletes, commending their consistency, teamwork, and determination throughout the season.

“This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to the countless hours of training and perseverance shown by these swimmers,” a Federation spokesperson said. “We are incredibly proud of them and confident they will represent Saint Lucia with pride and excellence.”

The swimmers were encouraged to aim for personal bests, fast swims, and memorable performances, while enjoying the camaraderie and spirit of regional competition.

As they prepare to don the national colors, the Federation and local supporters alike send best wishes for success in St. Vincent — reminding the athletes to swim with heart, wear their colors with pride, and continue to inspire the next generation of Saint Lucian swimmers.
