Saudi Arabian national killed in Marigot

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at China Town in Marigot on Monday evening.

Around 9:10 p.m., officers from the Marigot Police Station responded to a report of a shooting in the area.

When they arrived, officers found a man who was unresponsive inside a vehicle. Emergency workers examined him and found a wound in his chest.

A doctor at the scene confirmed that he had died.

The victim was identified as Abdallah Ragab Abozorik, a 33-year-old from Saudi Arabia.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is asking anyone with information that may assist with the investigation to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 456-3754.
